Well, here it is - 11:45 pm and I'm wide awake.  Dozed a little in the chair tonite.  Have no idea why I can't sleep.  Work is beyond stressful right now.  I miss Missy - she helped out and seemed to keep us on track.  So far behind.  But doing the best I can.  I'm not staying late.  I'm trying to leave at 5 but on Monday, Margie and I got stuck there until almost 6.  Left at 5:10 tonite.  Made pot roast in the crock pot - so good.  Will have some for lunch tomorrow.  
Haven't stitched in a couple of days.  Hopefully tomorrow night.  
Well, better try and go to sleep.

Another couple of months have gone by.  It's a week before labor day - can't believe summer is almost over.  It's been nice because the kids have come over almost every weekend to swim.  But tiring.  Sitting at the pool out in the sun is exhausting.  LOL
Haven't gotten as much stitching done as I wanted.  Have 2 stockings almost done, now I have to start Anna's and John's.  Then Mike and Nicole have their baby in January.  
At least I have months to finish that one.  I'm so tired when I get home.
Work is so stressful.  Missy is out.  Like 5 weeks now.  I feel so bad that she is having a hard time but miss her at work.  So much to do - Jill is helping.  We just keep giving her the boring grunt work to do.  I hope she doesn't quit.
Well, better get ready for work.  Just wish I could stay home.  I really need to start buying lottery tickets.  I'd quit so fast.  They'd be lucky if I take my stuff home.  LOL  One can dream.

Another while since I've posted.  Obviously I have a boring life - LOL.  Went to the spring retreat at Salty Yarns and had a good time as always.  Tracy didn't go this year so it was different.  I shared a room with Evelyn and Karen.  Karen doesn't stitch but she comes to have a weekend away.  Evelyn is obsessed with food.  But she saved money.  I brought stuff when I probably shouldn't have.  I just wish I had more time to stitch.   But seriously when I get home from work, eat dinner I exhausted.  I didn't go to bed until almost 12.  And I had trouble falling asleep.  Going to be a long day.  Watching ROOTS and I don't remember much of the first one - other than I like it.  It is interesting.  It's so sad that people thought it was ok to treat people that way.

I still have to put the name on Timmy's stuff.  Maybe tonite.  I'm afraid to do it after work because I'm tired and my mis-count,  Working on Grace's stocking, next to start Anna's and then Colleen's baby is due in August.  4 in 1 year.  I think Colleen is going to have a girl - but boys run rampant in Cushing side.  LOL  I have something to make for Kay for her birthday and for my sisters.  Hope to get the 1 done for Jane's 60th birthday.  Which I'm going out for.  I wasn't going to go but after Lou.....life to short.  I don't want to miss it.  I've always been the one not there for events, showers, weddings....not now.  Hopefully we'll make one of the weekends a partnership meeting and I can get reimbursed for it.  I emails Tom about it.

Long Time

It's been a long time since I posted.  I was always bad when I was a kid with a diary too.  I guess because my life if basically boring.  

2 weeks from yesterday, I'm doing a 10K.  Yes, it's Disney time again.  This year it's just me and Sarah doing the races.  Mary wanted to do it, but since she, Jimmy and the girls are coming down on Sunday, Jimmy was like  you are not leaving me home to get everything ready for leave.  So next year she'll join us.  Talked to my sister Sue who's come down the last 2 years and told her I wished she and colleen were coming down.  She told me that Colleen had just said the same thing to her - wished they were coming down.  So, next year hopefully they will be there too.  Sue doesn't do the 10K, so I'll have to decide whether I will or not.  It's getting harder to train.   Got a blister this time with my new shoes - well, I did new shoes and new socks - hopefully it'll go away.

Have to pay some bills right now and hopefully go out and see the girls this afternoon.  Waiting to hear back from Jimmy.
